First Lady Weptanomah Davis

Weptanomah Carter Davis a native of Lynchburg, Virginia, grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, earning a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola College. Weptanomah Davis has worked as a grant coordinator and counselor for the Career and Life Counseling Center in Bergen County, NJ.  Weptanomah,  a prolific writer, has co-authored three books, “She Said, She Said,” “101 Questions Often Asked by Minister’s Wives,” and “Seeds of Strength: Minister’s Wives Stories,” and at one time was a weekly advice columnist, along side of her late mother – Dr. Weptanomah W. Carter, for the Baltimore Times Newspaper.

Weptanomah has written several devotions that have been included in various publications by Judson Press including Sister Strength edited by Dr. Suzan D. Johnson-Cook and Women at the Well edited by Dr. Bernadette Glover-Williams. She has served on the faculty of the International Association of Minister's Wives and Minister's Widows, and as a presenter at the 2005 Kingdom Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.

Currently, Weptanomah is the editor and publisher of The Today’s Minister’s Wife Newsletter (www.todaysministerswife.org). Weptanomah, a mother of two, can be described as a woman who loves the Lord and is excited about Christian service.
